The career of a young Canadian conductor Charles Olivieri-Munroe is closely connected with Czech musical education and influenced by European artistic environment. A student of Janáček Academy in Brno, graduate of conducting courses of important world conductors, winner of principal conducting competitions in Europe, USA and Canada, holder of many awards for young talented artists, he has already succeeded in cooperating with prestigious world orchestras. Since 1997 he has been a chief conductor of North-Bohemian Philharmonic in Teplice.
